Dave Greber (b. 1982, Philadelphia) studied at Temple University, Universiteit van Amsterdam, and Tulane University. After a stint as a filmmaker/freelance commercial video producer, he found his calling in the contemporary art resurgence of post-Katrina New Orleans, creating video loops and site-specific multimedia installations. His work has been featured in museums: The Whitney, Crystal Bridges, Minneapolis Institute of Art, Telfair Musuem, Prospect 1.5, The Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans; commercial galleries, Arthur Roger Gallery in New Orleans, C24 Gallery in NYC; and International Media Festivals. His work has been covered by Art in America, Artforum, Rhizome, Hyperallergic, DailyServing, Pelican Bomb, Oxford American, and others. In 2015, he hiked the hiked the 2,200 mile Appalachian Trail. The experience was the source material for Trail Magique, an installation created with the help from a grant from the Warhol Foundation, at the May Gallery in New Orleans.

In early 2017, he funded a project through Kickstarter to create metaphysically-healing videos to broadcast the healing frequencies of Taos, New Mexico, to the world. Most recently, he completed a Rogaland Kunstsenter sponsored residency in Skudeneshavn, Norway, where he and collaborator Sophia Belkin developed a beverage foraged from the island and marketed it through a video installation and publication called For a
Potent Daydream.
